      history from Zenob’s book. Dr. Mesrob presented a paper read at the Ninth
      Mee ng of the Indian Historical Records Commission held at Lucknow in De-
      cember, 1926.
      Gevork Nazaryan establishes through his scholarly study of ancient Armenian
      manuscripts  that  chan ng  the  “harers”  reveals  the  origin  of  crea on
      (ehou oun, the Armenian word for existence), how the soul comes down into
      the material world of ma er and ignorance, and how the soul can be liberat-

      Nazaryan further says: “THE [H]ARS [KRIST CONSCIOUSNESS] WERE CARRIED
      TO ALL PARTS OF THE WORLD BY ARMAN WISDOM SEERS FROM THE SACRED
      ARMAN/ARMIN/ARMEN [IRMIN] HIGHLAND.”

      It  is  very  significant  that  Nazaryan  notes  the  (H)ares  are  synonymous  with
      Krist consciousness. The name of Christ (Jesus) in English is derived from the
      Greek word Christos, which is also the Armenian word deno ng Jesus Christ.
      Christos is derived from the ancient Sanskrit word Krista, which means a rac-
       on. When an Indian Hindu addresses God, he o en says Krishna, the name
      of God in Sanskrit which means the all a rac ve Supreme Personality of God-
      head who possesses all beauty, power, knowledge, fame, wealth and renun-
      cia on. Krishna also means the one who can stop birth and death. In other
