The Plan For a New Vedic Cultural Center near Seattle, WA

This new, modern bi-level building to be constructed at 1420 228th Ave SE, Sammamish, WA 98075 will serve the cultural needs of the Greater Seattle Area through Vedic education, arts, culture, and spirituality. 

The first floor of the building will feature a community hall measuring 1615 Sq. feet with dining, kitchen, storage, and restroom facilities. The second floor, measuring 2700 Sq. feet to accommodate a greater number of devotees and guests, will be the temple home for our Deities. An elevator is also planned to make the temple accessible to all of our members. This State of the Art building will use Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system for the comfort of our Deities and guests. And Srimati Tulsi devi will be grown for all to worship using natural sunlight in a controlled greenhouse.

The community halls will highlight the following activities:

  • Vedic school to inculcate Vedic values in youth and Sunday School to train young children in Vedic heritage.


  • Arts – Drawing, Music, Drama, Katthak and Bharatnatyam.
  • Culture – Languages, Traditions, Cooking, & Handicrafts.
  • Festivals – Diwali, Sankranti, Dussera, Holi, Gaura Purnima, Ramnavami, Janmastami, Shivaratri, Rath-Yatra, Ugadi, & more.
  • Food for Life – Free meals for all at our Center, senior days and community outreach.
  • Marriages, Births, Birthdays, Initiations, Anniversaries, Funerals and Annual Blessings for loved ones who have departed.
  • Discussions on Karma, Jnana, & Bhakti Yoga.
  • Bhagavat Gita Recitation & discourse.
