District area
My Sweet Lord, located in Seattle’s U.W. District, is the
first free all vegetarian restaurant for body & soul to
provide a living example of Vedic hospitality for all people
regardless of race or religion. Appreciated by the
community, My Sweet Lord has functioned for over three years
as an all volunteer, cooperative endeavor offering tasty,
blessed food for all.

Golden Gardens Summer Family Picnic
Every year from June to August the center organizes a ‘Hari
Nama Sankirtan’ beach picnic for adults and children to
dance and sing while offering free prasadam to all the
attending devotees and general public. |

Sharing the Vedic Culture with Seattle
The center periodically conducts festivals of joy throughout
the City of Seattle for spreading the Vedic culture. Temple
devotees encourage onlookers to share the joy of chanting
“Hare Krishna” at places like West Lake Mall, Seattle
Centre, Pike’s Market, and Capital Hills.

University Outreach
Members of the center routinely interact with
university faculty & students to promote cultural
understanding, support, and research in a variety of
community topics. In the picture to the left Romapada Swami
discusses “Mind, Intelligence & Consciousness” with a
university group.
